Costa Rica First (CR1) announced on Sunday the conclusion of its efforts to renew the structures within the party for the upcoming period of 2025-2029. This significant milestone marks a pivotal moment in the party’s evolution.

«CR1 has officially become the first political party to successfully reach the renewal of its party plan for the period 2025-2029. Other national parties were mandated to embark on the renewal of their structures, and I am proud to say that CR1 reached its peak yesterday,» stated Omar Rojas, the Secretary General of the party. During the parliamentary session held on Saturday, a total of five new authorities were appointed, highlighting the dynamic leadership changes within the party. Among those appointed, Omar Rojas Donato was re-elected as Secretary General, demonstrating continued trust in his leadership. Additionally, Marta Campos Méndez stepped into the crucial role within the population office.
